This time, the U.S., joined by European allies and NATO partners, publicly condemn China for malicious cyber hacks and directly hiring hackers. It's a great clip. Going back to Cain killing Abel with a rock and then the invention of the longbow where you could kill people and not actually have to look them in the eye. There's this evolution. People sense there's something going on. I don't know if two years ago people realized that we are in a war right now. And it's in our streets. It's in our laptops. It's all around us. But this has evolved quickly. And the kind of warfare we're in is unlike... anything that any of our ancestors have ever experienced. You know, it is. I mean, there's been this type of warfare that's been strung through the other eras of war. You know, even in first-generation warfare, people were trying to affect, in some sense, the cognitive battle space with fear and with, you know, the concern of attrition, things like that. But in today's modern world, when we talk about fifth-generation warfare, we're talking about war that primarily resides in the cognitive battle space. It's about manipulation, you know, political warfare. It's war without bounds as what the Chinese call it, unrestricted. In the United States, we use terms like irregular warfare. We use terms like hybrid warfare. And it all is nonlinear. This is all nonlinear warfare, which fits in this fifth generation of warfare. And this is where we're at. And I think by and larger, a lot of people do feel like there's a tremendous amount of manipulation and propaganda and these things. And there's a vying for your emotions. Everybody's playing for your emotions because your emotions are the things that cut down your critical thinking skills. And everybody kind of feels it, but they don't know what to call it. Well, what they call it is, you know, this is a wartime environment in fifth generation warfare. You know, you and General Flynn wrote this book together, The Citizen's Guide to Fifth Generational Warfare. You have a background, military. You also are psychological ops. Is that right? Yes, psychological operations. So let's talk a little bit about that with your background and kind of what you are seeing now, and why did you and General Flynn write these books together? I want to make a comment on these books, too, because this is the—I mean, there probably are others out there, but as far as the general population on a mass scale— Most things that are like doctrine-based manuals are written by military experts for other military experts. Here, you're taking the best principles of all of military history and breaking them down in a manual that's designed for the average citizen, which is a very unique flip. It's almost like an NFL playbook, but written for the armchair quarterback.
