I got a dwarf. Dwarfs are us. I have no idea. Yeah. So these are Yeah. And then here's another one. Speaking of fantasy. That was out of focus. Can't see the door. Oh, they're kind of kind of kind of and then on the back is another anvil. Oh, it's an anvil. So doors are very iron workers. They are, you know, and the dwarfs that we play in Evermore Park are the ones that build all the lanterns were lantern makers. So that's cool. What is what is Evermore Park? I don't know what that is. So Evermore Park is a is a themed. It's a it's a themed park. It's not a theme park. It's a themed park. I always say this, imagine like a $40 million movie set, where you walk through these gates. And when you walk through the gates, you are taken back to an old English British village that's gated in by walls. And you are greeted by hunters and elves and doors fantasy, fantasy creatures as well as humans that live there. You know, and it's like timeless. It's like it, it's old school, but you have these, what do you call it, kind of vortexes or whatever that open, and you have different creatures that come through. I mean, so this is a video the video game or is this live? This is a real place. I want to go. I had no I don't know anything about it. Yeah, I was hired. Googling it. You need to my buddy, Ken, who owns the park asked myself and one of my best friends, Matt Madsen to who we do two big guys in the car together on on hard candy humor, but which I love, by the way, I just just watched several episodes. We just shot our last one last one. The drive through. Yeah, yeah, it was funny. Oh, man. But yeah, so this this is so Ken asked us come on. So I produced their help create kind of the whole, you know, with it with our team of producers, create what the the the look and everything would be as far as the acting and everything. It's kind of it's it's evolved from where I you know, where it was when I first was there. But my gosh, you know, so I'm just looking at the website and it's actually ever more.com in case the listeners want to go there and check it out. But it looks amazing. There's there's ax throwing, which is now a big thing in malls and things. There's ax throwing in malls. But oh, yeah, you know, that does brand new. But shoot arrows there. This is food. This everything is is themed in this thing. Even the food and beverages. It is I kid you not some of the best food I've ever had, not just in a park, but some of the best food period that I've ever had. It's awesome. And there's a restaurant there that's going to be opening here very soon. It's it's you had me you had me a good food. You had me at best food. That's what got me involved. You had me there. I have to go now. Of course. But it does look really, really cool. It's awesome. You know, there's you should look it up on YouTube. BuzzFeed. Was it BuzzFeed? Yeah, it is. I see they did a yeah, huge video on it. You'll see a dwarf that looks oddly like myself in there. Yeah. That's cool. I think yeah, I'm glad to finally be able to have a show to have you on since you, you know, so gladly invited me on yours. Those times. That was my pleasure, man. Yeah, you did good. I mean, you're a good guest. Well, thank you. I appreciate that. Now I expect you to match up to my level of guest skill. Really? My expectations. Okay. So the only thing we're not an explicit podcast, you know, when you start a podcast, you got to say whether you're explicit or not. So we're we went for the PG stuff, so we could get kids in and stuff like that. So okay, I will watch my language. Yep. I figure worst case scenarios. I added a little bit not a huge deal. We're not live. We're not live. We just record this and then we put it out tonight. So the deal so so welcome. It's great to have you. It's my pleasure to be here. Yeah, meet Christian. Christian's my podcast partner. Hey, Boone. How you doing, Christian? I'm good. How are you? Doing good, man. Been better, but I've been worse. So I don't know. I hear you. There you go. All right. Good to hear. So we did did our research on what you're doing lately. And I don't know how up to date the internet is. But you know, start off by just let letting you tell us what what you've been up to and, and, you know, what you'd like to talk about. Well, you know, it's been interesting over the last couple years, some pretty significant health issues that occurred trying to get past this COVID thing, but stem cells about, you know, different things that war the warfighter community can really wrap their head around to bring true healing to the environment because that's, that's what we need. Sure, absolutely. So I know you've been doing a lot with cannabis, a lot with CBD oil and things like that. What have been your findings, your findings as far as those things, from what I understand have been a great help. Well, I'll tell you before cannabis, okay, in my world, and my world is not so unlike a lot of other combat veterans who've been through similar things, you know, serving in Iraq, Afghanistan, Africa, it's, it's not unlike the same, the same situation, which is we come home, we have these injuries. And what I've really seen is the over medication of combat veterans for for things like traumatic brain injury for brain damage. You can't take psych meds and think it's going to cure brain damage. So then, oh, you're breaking up a little bit. That's been a big chronic pain, pain. Oh, can you hear me now? Yep. Yep. Hello. Yep, we got you. Okay. The things that they use it for. The things that use it for chronic pain, you know, the opioids aren't as big of a deal as they were. But there were a lot of us that were very, very badly from opioids and things like that. Myself alone, the kidney damage from the morphine and the different opiates I was taking, that ultimately affected a heart condition that I had. So all these things that kind of work together, and it really leads to our demise in our community. Gotta talk about things that are other that have cannabinoids using, you know, hormone replacement, easily work and don't. Are you there? Yeah, we're here. You're breaking up just a little bit boom, but I think I caught what you're saying, you know, about, you know, about the opioids and all those things. You know, my dad was injured in Iraq in 2005. Roadside bomb went off, killed everybody, but him crushed his spine. And we were scuba diving a couple years ago. And I had to drag him out of the water because what had happened was all those drugs had compacted, you know, had built up in a system, you know, went took him to the hospital, you know, he had a near death experience and all that stuff. But now he's now he's doing the old picture of CBD THC CBD.
