Chinas Global Schemes Exposed Cartels Oil Weapon Failures

preparedness

"All of this goes back to China. Venezuela, the cartels, the fentanyl, the money laundering, the precursor chemicals — all of it traces right back to the CCP." Epoch Times journalist Joshua Phillips breaks down China's panic — half their oil went through the Strait of Hormuz (now disrupted), their major weapon systems just failed publicly in Venezuela and Iran, Xi Jinping is purging his own military after a coup attempt. Trump holds the leverage: rare earth minerals for oil.

Phillips, an investigative journalist for Epic Times, host of Crossroad and a documentary filmmaker. Joshua, thank you for joining me again. Yeah, it's always a pleasure, thank you. I know that you study China significantly more than me, significantly more than the average American. Many say that Trump is making a leadership change in Iran, but the side benefit is putting China on their back foot. How do you imagine this is affecting China based on oil, the blockade in the Straits of Hormuz and trying to make sure that the US dollar remains the global currency? I would say that this is all actually about China. I'd even say that Venezuela was really about China. I'd actually say even the cartels tie in with China because China does the money laundering, the precursor chemicals and the fentanyl and other synthetic drugs for the cartels. All of this goes back to China. And on that point too, what it is, it's weaponized corruption. If you can control a country through corruption, whoever controls the corruption controls the country, simple as that. All of this goes back to China. So in terms of what's happening with Iran though, based on the people we're talking to at Epic Times, you'll be some pretty good sources, there's panic in China. The CCP is really worried about this on a few fronts. First of all, they got about half, about half their oil goes to the Strait of Hormuz, currently closed down. Iran was laying mines in the Strait. They already blew up a couple of ships, even one Chinese, I don't know if it was by accident or not, but they're not really, they're not sending in their best, you might say. You know what I mean? So they're not doing so well on that front. So China lost a lot of the oil that was going through there. They also lost Venezuela, which was a huge supplier of oil. One of Trump's requirements for Venezuela to reopen their oil trade is push out Russia, Iran, and China. And so he's not trying to hide it. The other big thing that happened, of course, China just watched all of its major weapon systems fail. For example, some of the missile defense systems that were in place and the radar systems that were in place, both in Venezuela and in Iran, were supposed to be able to stop US military attacks just like this in both places, they failed. In both places, they were totally useless. We also saw the Chinese anti-ship missiles fail. We saw a lot of the Chinese weapons systems fail. And so the CCP just witnessed, hey, all the weapons we thought were the best in the world, the things we were telling our allies against the United States could defeat America, none of them worked. So they're seeing now that all the things they thought they had in place to beat America militarily don't work against us. And so what they're facing now, economic pressure, lack of oil supplies, probably a global crisis on energy unless the Strait of Hormuz gets reopened. You're also seeing, for example, their factories pulled out, the real estate industry is starting to collapse. They're facing internal pressure. Xi Jinping is purging his own military because there was an attempted coup against him and at least calls for a coup. They're not doing so well. And so what I think is gonna happen is Trump's gonna roll in there and he's probably gonna make a deal with Xi Jinping. And what I believe is gonna happen at the very least, America needs rare earth minerals, China needs oil. I think there's gonna be an exchange on that front. And Trump now has a lot of Venezuelan oil that again, part of the thing was he said that they stole it from us because we built a lot of the industry there and then they took it away from us. That's America's oil now. And so I think they're gonna trade that for rare earths but we'll have to see.
