Control Your World Focus On Local Action Not Rabbit Holes
preparedness"If we don't do things with intention, we start doing things on behalf of other people's intentions." Boone breaks down 30-meter targets versus 5,000-foot targets — focus on what's controllable and usable. "Local action equals national impact" (Flynn's adage). Be secure in who you are and what you believe, then you're not fearful of listening to other people. Stop chasing rabbit holes and start showing people what right looks like.

Be confident and understand your own frame of reference.
Why do you believe the way you believe?
And what are your motivations?
Because if we don't do these things with intention,
then we start doing things on behalf
of other people's intentions.
And I think, also, if you're secure with who you are
and what you believe and you have a strong foundation,
you're more likely to listen to other people
because you're not fearful that you're going to be swayed.
It is OK to listen.
Yeah, and it's huge.
That's huge.
I'm going to get through some of my favorite boom quotes
that I've heard you say in live events.
I've been blessed enough to, I think
I've been around you two or three things over even
the last month.
So control the controllables.
Talk about that, because people say, OK, this all sounds bad.
What can I do?
And use the usables.
What's controllable?
What's usable?
And then kind of transition that into 30 feet and 5,000 foot
targets.
This was so helpful for me.
Yeah, there's a lot of folks, General Flynn always
talks about local action equals national impact.
That's absolutely true.
We have people that they're saying, what do I do?
What do I do?
What do I do?
And then you see them slide off into this space
because it happens to me.
People contact me and they go, I've got to tell you this.
I've got something that changes everything.
And you've got to know about it, because if you know about it,
we can make changes and change everything.
I'll be like, OK, great.
What is it?
What do you got?
And they'll tell me about some group that did some certain
thing in like 1610.
What am I going to do with that?
That is not a usable.
I can't use that.
But you tell me, hey, there's a school board
meeting on Thursday night.
And there's pornography in the schools and it's wrong.
And the school board needs to be changed out.
Well, now I have, that's a 30 meter target.
That's not a 5,000 meter target.
And we want to hit 30 meter targets because for two reasons.
One, they're right in front of us
and it is something that can be controlled.
And the other reason is if it's that close,
it can get you very quickly.
So we always want to engage those close targets.
And yes, I find it interesting that certain things happen
in certain times in the world.
OK, I find it interesting.
But what can I do with that?
What can be done?
And you see a lot of people, they're on social media
and they're pushing this message in this group and that group.
And this is really the secret group
behind the secret group behind the secret group.
That's great.
But if you're spending 15 hours a day doing that
and you're not trying to figure out how to propose a bill,
get a bill proposed in your state legislature
to actually change things and you're not
focusing on the political domain,
what are you really accomplishing
other than causing yourself a tremendous amount of stress
about things you have no control over?
Spend your time on the things you can control.
Find ways to be creative and control the environment
around you.
Use the things that are available,
the things that are not available.
Find a way to get those things that you need.
Use what you have to get what you need and focus there.
Stay on your 30 meter targets.
This stuff that is so far extrapolated
really doesn't mean anything right now.
You're focusing on something that's 5,000 meters away.
Meanwhile, the things that are 30 meters away
are about to take you over.
