Psychedelics Big Pharmas Grip Vs Real Healing

recovery

"I love the conversation about psychedelics healing our brains. But I'm fearful of big pharma. Some people from where I come from ended up on hot drugs because of big pharma." The tension: psychedelics work, but the same industry that created the zombie cocktail will try to control and monetize them. Real healing needs to stay out of pharma's grip.

I love that there's a conversation about using some of these to potentially heal or just change some of the way that our brains work. At the same time, I am fearful of a big pharma, which you already referenced. Yeah. Look, some people from where I come from ended up on hot drugs because of big pharma. And some people where I came from got off of big drugs By relying on big pharma. And there's a hopeful message here that I want to say. And it seems to me that Donald Trump and whatever operation is going on right now seem to be attacking the problem at its root. Right. So we had three letter agencies protecting poppy fields in the Middle East. We had three letter agencies bringing in cocaine into the United States to start the crack wars. Right. So, I mean, you got you got guys like white boy Rick and you got stories for days of our own government using our own people to make our own people sick. And so if I'm watching what I'm watching and it seems to be so, Donald Trump's also got this operation going on where we're derooting the problem from where it begins, because if you're not flooding our streets with drugs to begin with, which was freaking mostly them and cartels. which they were working with as we're all starting to figure out at this point. And who took over the operation, the CCP. Right. I agree. And this is what I think is, I think this conversation also needs to be had. Sure. We can talk about different ways to help. And I certainly didn't go through war like some of you guys that I look up to. It doesn't matter. Trauma is trauma. And I don't, you know, I respect everything that you're saying. I can tell you're being very kind to me, but I can tell you from, from my perspective and to understand, you know, trauma and abuse and, and these types of things, you know, anything, anybody out there is dealing with, you know, childhood trauma, things like that. You know, maybe you've been incarcerated. There's a lot of trauma that happens with that too. Yeah. You know, there's everybody in that in that subsect of people can be helped by the things that we're talking about right now. And I think it should be available. I think it should be something that is on the table as an option. That's what I'm saying. I'm not by no means am I saying everybody should go do psychedelic therapy. Even if I believed it, I wouldn't say that here because that's the thing. Just like cannabis. You know, I think cannabis is fantastic. If you've got insomnia, I think a good indica blend and a couple of hits, you're good to go. It's not an issue. You know, you know, you know, you know what they call ADHD, you know, some of those are very well mitigated with just a tiny bit of sativa, which is, I mean, you can't hurt you litter. I have actually been on the phone with veterans who were suicidal. And I said, do me a favor. If you, before you do that, get high. get high and then reevaluate if that's something you really want to do. I've actually done that.
