Spending Limits Fight Back With Critical Thinking
preparedness"They're going to stop you from spending your money. You go to fill your gas tank a second time in a month because you're working your ass off — and they're going to limit that." you say to yourself, what the hell, what do you, what do you mean? They're going to, they're going to stop me from being able to spend my money. Like when you go to buy a gallon of milk or you go to buy, to put an X, you know, to, to fill your tank up, your gas tank up in your truck a second time in a month, because, you know, because you're working your ass off. Right. So, and you're all of a sudden you go to, you go to, to, to put a credit card into the gas tank and it goes up. You've already had your limit. You've, you've, You've used up too much of the environment, right? You screw the environment too badly with your carbon footprint. I mean, so these, everything that I just said are things that these people have been talking about for years. And now they're in a place because they've, you know, they, they, they use COVID as a talk about a psyop, you know, they use COVID and they, they had the target audience and, and they were masters. They were masterful at, at this thing. So, All of this stuff, these are all things that are impacting our lives right now. So how do we rise above that? And, you know, on a battlefield, we want to dominate the terrain, right? Because we don't ever choose the terrain. Typically, you know, our military never chooses the terrain that we're going to fight on because it's always overseas somewhere. It's somebody else's terrain. So we go and operate. Now, tactically, when you get there, you know, you can go grab the high ground or you get this piece of terrain. But the idea about now is the terrain, right? The terrain is right here. It's the mind. And so we have to dominate that terrain. And the way that we dominate that terrain is to start critically thinking and understand the terms and understand the verbiage and understand the threats. It's like a mission analysis. In the military, we do something called mission analysis. And basically, it's a problem-solving drill to get to where you absolutely understand what it is that you have to do. And all of us have to start thinking that way. And that's part of what we've tried to do with the Citizen's Guide is to allow you to go through it and take your time going through it. And just as Luke said, he's highlighted parts of it like a lot of people do. And that's the feedback that certainly we're getting, that people are actually using it and they're going to their neighbors, they're going to their churches in some cases, and they're talking about it. I just did a thing about... Three weeks ago with a group up in Illinois, a Zoom call up in Illinois. I don't know how many people. We had a couple hundred from a church who they did the, they started a book club. And I knew the woman up there who was forming it. And they wanted to talk about this first. So we ended up doing it three different times, you know, over time with their church community. Because many people in the church were like, oh, we'll get through this. No problem. But actually, no, unless you understand how to dominate that terrain, you're never going to get through this. You're just going to be just, you know, the classic, you know, you know, the uninformed soldier. Right. You're going to be the person who's sitting there like a like a bump on a log.
