Hell, my business, I'm the chief brand officer of Grunstow LLC. We market using advertising and the way that we advertise is by keywords, advertisements through social media, listening on the conversations that you guys are having in your personal lives to pick up trends so I can market towards you. This is the world that we live in. I am one business of many. quite fearsome in the way that we can be now manipulated in the way we think, the way what we believe, the way information is served to us through this tiny device. And now we're being persuaded, right? Now we're being coerced. We're being served misinformation, mal-information, disinformation of all sorts of varieties from our friends that are sharing things that they see that they think is great and they want to share with others. They're sharing You know, things from other governments, right, that are dumping things into our social media space, that are manipulating political thought, right, and forcing us to be more partisan in the way that we believe, right? We can look out the windows and look into our very communities. Are we divided as we may, that the media presents us to be? Absolutely not. I think we are tighter as a country than we've ever been, but we are so persuaded by the way that we are engaging in the environments around us that has now become a problem. And we've become partisan. And this country is now divided in ways that can we get back from? I don't know. But we need to start looking at fifth generation warfare as a method and a means of what is happening within our country from internal and external forces. And that is the clear fact of the world we live in. And we're putting these cell phones in the hands of children at a very early age. So we feel like the manipulation is happening from children on up? Absolutely. Like, you know, I'm 45 years old, right, of the generation X, the last generation or the only generation that has a foot in the pre-digital side and pre-technology side and one side in technology. You know, so everybody behind us is growing up with this as their first form of interaction. How many of us have children that are putting a YouTube Kindle in front of them and say, hey, just watch this for a few minutes. I've got something to take care of. We're all doing it. It's okay. But we need to do better because we're conditioning. We're putting people into a behavioral box, and that is a problem. because now we're not forcing people to be critical thinkers, we're forcing them to be absorbers of information. And what does that information do? Well, we all have confirmation bias to some reasonable degree, and the things that we're seeing and the things that are going on in our head, we're like, oh, yeah, that makes sense, right? But all that could be misinformation, could be disinformation, could be malinformation, and we're making judgments off of that which is affecting those of us around us who are raising our children with these ideas. So we need to really step up our game.
