What I think is going to happen is Trump's going to roll in there and he's probably going to make a deal with Xi Jinping. And what I believe is going to happen at the very least, America needs rare earth minerals. China needs oil. I think there's going to be an exchange on that front. And Trump now has a lot of Venezuelan oil that, again, part of the thing was he said that they stole it from us because we built a lot of the industry there and then they took it away from us. That's America's oil now. And so I think they're going to trade that for rare earths, but we'll have to see. Okay. Well, interesting insight. Let me skip over to Russia with you. As I covered the Biden years, almost every expert I had on, whether geopolitical or military, said the stupidest thing Joe Biden did was push Russia into the arms of China, something we've tried to keep them apart for decades. So now China... is scrambling. They've got long gas lines. They're freaking out. We don't have Venezuela. We don't have Iran. They didn't militarily back Iran. Now Iran has attacked one of their ships. They're not able to make good on their oil contracts. China is scrambling. At the same time, the Trump administration went to Putin, said, hey, we'd like to talk about ending the Russia-Ukraine war, and we're going to lift all the sanctions on your oil for the next 30 days. Is this an off-ramp for the Russia-Ukraine war and an on-ramp to do business with Russia, which has a lot of natural resources we need as well? So there's a couple ways to view this. One is I know a lot of people who, like myself, I would also say one of the worst moves ever done was to push Russia into China's arms. I think you can't just blame Biden for that. A lot of that goes back to even 20, you know, post-Obama and the whole, you know, Russiagate scandal. You can blame Democrats for that, fair enough. But the whole Russiagate scandal basically stopped diplomacy between the United States and Russia for four to five years. That was devastating to us diplomatically. It was a terrible thing. The whole thing was based on false information, and it was made to go get Trump and effectively destroyed relations with one of the core powers in the world, whether it be like it or not, and did make them make some pretty terrible deals with the CCP. At the same time, Russia and China, although they have signed a no limits agreement, they're also frenemies. China has basically been price gouging Russia on oil. The CCP takes advantage of them. Even when Russia, you know, Putin was meeting with Kim Jong-un in North Korea, the CCP was pressuring them saying, basically, don't make deals with our other allies. You know, basically, you serve me effectively. You know, Xi Jinping wants Vladimir Putin to be beneath him. And you have to remember the power dynamic here. Xi Jinping is like a middle school dropout. He's like a middle school dropout. Vladimir Putin is probably one of the smartest, whether we like it or not, one of the smartest guys in Russia. He's smarter than most of their military, smarter than most of their intelligentsia. He's old school intel. He was KGB even prior to taking power, even during the Cold War. He's a smart guy. And him having to play second fiddle to Xi Jinping, a guy who dropped out of middle school, is not a position he wants to be in, especially not internationally and especially not when China's ripping him off on every deal. It is possible Russia could take an off ramp because, frankly, at this point, the war is being sustained by China. Russia can't get out of it. Russia wants out of it. They can't get out of it. And of course, the problem that Putin's going to face is if he gets out of it, what's going to happen? Well, you're going to have a lot of powers in, for example, Western Europe who want him to stand trial. They're going to want like, you know, crimes against humanity type trials against him. And so him getting a deal might be the best thing you can possibly hope for. Will that happen? I don't know. I'd say about 50-50 on it because Russia is pretty deep in with the CCP right now. So we'll have to wait and see. going back to iran from from my perspective and only time will tell but i believe president trump just risked his entire presidency and legacy on this iran situation i believe that based on intel and what we've been dealing with with them attacking people killing so many in iraq and others other times uh He's done what no other president has done in 47 years. I believe he's taken a great risk with his legacy. How do you think this helps or hurts the midterms?
