Welcome to Wake Up With Patti Catter. Come dive into today's episode sponsored by the Patriotic Mermaid. Hello, everybody. You're listening to and watching Wake Up With Patti Catter. And I am Patti Catter. Today, I have a longtime old friend, Boone Cutler, on the show. And Boone has his friend, Jeffrey. It's Jeffrey Dardita, right? Dardita. Daria. Oh my goodness. I'd like everybody to be. Remember Daria, the joke from the nineties. Okay. Yeah. Put a D in the end of it. Daria. Okay. Daria. Oh my gosh. I'm surprised people still listen to me after slaughtering all these last names. Wow. So I'm really, I'm really impressed because I've known Boone a long time. I can't exactly remember when he started advocating. Boone, when did you start advocating for veterans? Let me see. I got off the dope in late 2009. I actually went in the hospital, got off all the meds and everything in October 2009. And by 2010, that's when I started. That's when this whole game started. So 10 years now. Yeah. And I believe that's about when I met you. I'll never forget you because I thought you were amazing. All the things that you were doing with the veterans and trying to teach them about all the pharmaceuticals that were hurting them and a bunch of stuff. But you made a video for me. I was running a nonprofit at the time and you made a great video about post-traumatic stress and what it was. And it was the first time that anybody could put it into terms where everybody could understand it. So you were amazing. And then I met Jeff online. He has a Facebook group a few years ago. You probably added me to his group or somebody did. And I was so impressed with that because I've been an advocate now since 2006, 2007. And I never could understand why either the military or even civilians weren't getting the information out there that were, that would help military veterans. I was trying to learn everything on my own and it was really hard. And then I see Jeff's group and I was so surprised that he was talking about some of the things that were so important, like drug interactions and all sorts of things. Yeah. So how did you two meet each other? So along the same lines, Boone, I think it was 2011 timeframe, right? It was the whole, the mefloquine thing was taken off. And I was in my self-discovery with my medical stuff and started advocating. And then I met Boone, same channels. We both connected through those. And we've been going ever since. I've never looked back. That explains it. That's probably when I found you maybe as the mefloquine. I had Boone on my show about mefloquine before. So which one of you would like to tell our listeners what your book is about? Because you came together and first of all, you decided to write a book. How did that happen?
